Home is where your heart is..within..
Returning Home — An Invitation.
This story from the heart has taken some time to conjure up. I often do this thing where I try so hard to do something and it somehow doesn’t feel right or simply wont move forward. It’s this thing within that holds me back and I can’t find words to express it yet I can feel it growing in me. It’s like a drifting away from yourself without going anywhere. So often I think we feel it and hope for some outside thing to come in and rescue us and show us the way. Ive realized that each encounter I make somehow nourishes a part of me that is longing to be found and seen. There is the courage to say Yes and move with the flow and this quote by Donald Woods Winnicott, “ It’s a joy to be hidden, and a disaster not to be found” reminds me of the gentle power in saying YES. My mentor Cassandra Oggier who I studied The Reflective Horse with in California reached out to me a few months ago and asked If I would host a Europe experience with her. The moment she asked me I realized she sees something that I have longed for and to have the opportunity to co create this adventure has been a gift. It has awakened a part of me that was always there.
This May we will be sharing a container at Ibiza Horse Valley where The Reflective Horse practices alongside A Horses Heart can be explored and witnessed. This weekend is about feeling, listening and allowing. You may ask why embodied Horsewomanship? Because our true connection with a horse begins with ourselves. When we come home to our own bodies, horses meet us there- in a language beyond words, in a relationship built on truth.
There’s a home inside you that no house can hold. A place before words, before rules, before thoughts…
A place where you feel. Where you move because your body says yes.
We invite you to come as you are and to leave as more of who you really are.
To step into the herd, and go deeper into yourself. Details here.
We can’t wait to meet you there. In the heart. In the breath between horse and human.
